South Portland Rec Clinic a GREAT Success...SIGN UPS SOON FOR "Intro to Gaelic Sports" starting April 30th

22 kids showed up to learn how to play football and hurling, some even with hurls they had gotten on trips to Ireland.  We set up 5 stations and even had time for football scrimmages at the end.  We'd like to thank the parents and supporters who came by and to the kids for their great enthusiasm and positive attitudes. 

NOW is the time to consider signing up for our 4 session "Intro to Gaelic Sports" program that runs Mondays from 4/30 through 5/21.  We have a great field at Wainwright (right by the parking lot instead of a 4 miles nature walk like last year).  Cost is $25 for SoPo residents and $35 for non-residents.  Includes a t-shirt, mouth guard, and shin guards.  We'll provide equipment.

FREE CLINIC THIS SATURDAY at South Portland Community Center gym. 

This is for 5-13 year old boys and girls.  It will feature 3 football and 3 hurling stations with some modified scrimmages.  Coaches from Ireland will be on hand to share how they grew up playing the sports and giving demonstrations.
